CeSHE envisions a society where every person can attain fair health and social outcomes, regardless of
ethnicity, gender, geography, income, social status, or disability. We want a society where research, education,
policy reform, partnerships, and community projects can mitigate inequities and promote opportunity.
Mission
CeSHE advances societal and health equity through interdisciplinary research, education, value-based
health/social care, and evidence-based policies. We conduct research, manage projects, develop programs,
train leaders, and collaborate with stakeholders to mitigate inequities.

Our Scientific Leadership
WHO WE ARE
We are a team of scientists with expertise in project management, community development, and health/social
research. We have good experience in societal and policy development. Our scientists hold qualifications including
MD, PhD, DBA (Doctor of Business Administration), PMP® (Project Management Professional), and Certified
Principal Investigator (CPI®).
Our leadership includes Dr Olumuyiwa Bamgbade, the Executive Director and Lead Researcher. Dr Bamgbade is a
physician-scientist, academic researcher, pharmaceutical R&D, and healthcare leader with international experience
across Canada, the United Kingdom, and the United States. He has expertise in clinical research, academic
medicine, specialist clinical practice, investigator-led therapeutics research, research mentorship, and
multidisciplinary collaboration. He is experienced in study conception, protocol development and review, principal
investigator leadership, clinical research execution, outcomes research, scientific publication, and university-based
teaching.
Dr Bamgbade combines specialist physician expertise with a Doctor of Business Administration, PMP® project
management certification, and ACRP CPI® principal investigator certification. He collaborates in academic research
leadership, pharmaceutical R&D, medical affairs, clinical research, faculty leadership, research program
development, and cross-sector health research.
